No racing bikes have gears?

I was watching the Tour de France recently and could not see whether they had the gears. It seems as if you the need, but the television coverage focuses on the drivers, not the pedals, so I can not tell.

I do not want your sponsor but does not seek antique train downtube levers are? Racing bikes now have their gear operated by a paddle behind the brake lever and brake lever is used to slow down. Most riders in the TdF use 20 speeds (two turntables and a tape sprocket 10 rear) Always on the use electronic prototypes, but most of what I have described above. (Whether they are Shimano, Campy or SRAM). Hope this helps mate.
