Destinations & Eurostar Eurostar Connections part of the guide – I
Eurostar is a high-speed rail service that connects London (United Kingdom) to France and Belgium via the Channel Tunnel connecting hundreds of other European countries and cities. Starts from London (St Pancras International Station) and passes through Ebbsfleet International Station (UK), Ashford Station (UK), through the Channel Tunnel, it stops at Calais and Lille. From Lille, has two services, one in Brussels and to Paris and Disneyland Resort Paris.
I have traveled to Britain for over a decade ever asking to visit France / Paris and other beautiful cities of Europe on the Eurostar, but it was not until about a couple of years I actually had the opportunity to travel on Eurostar. This is a fun train ride that actually goes under the water and so fast. It is important that each traveler to do good research about choosing Eurostar to travel and see all the places he / she can travel without changing the train service.
Eurostar Eurostar Destinations / Services Direct are where Eurostar and go directly stops and connections are Eurostar trains connecting to Europe or the UK to other destinations Eurostar destinations. I was confused about these keywords always and always asked his staff or other travelers to know exactly what he meant and therefore I thought it better to put here for the common people who know they should know about it and make a good research before you book and travel by Eurostar.
Eurostar destinations are London, Paris, Brussels, Lille, Avignon, Disneyland Resort Paris and skiing (Alpine). From these destinations, Eurostar connects hundreds of other destinations in Europe and these connections are the Netherlands (from Brussels to Amsterdam and Rotterdam, etc), Germany (from Brussels to Cologne and Frankfurt, etc.) Switzerland (Geneva from Paris to Zurich and etc), Belgium (from Brussels to Bruges, Ghent, etc), France (Paris and other stations to all stations possible) and the United Kingdom itself (from London to Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool etc).
High-speed train connection in Europe are generally classified into four types namely – Night trains (eg Corail Lune, train Elipsos and City Night Line), Hi high-speed trains (such as the TGV, ICE, Thalys, AVE trains), commuter trains cars and trains, airlines and AutoTrain. In the UK, Eurostar has a tie – with around 10 UK train companies, including trains Virgain, Angelia East, East Midlands Trains, National Express and First Capital Connect.
