tour de france fans
What Tour de France cycling fans do when walking by?

I live in Catalonia, where it appears that the Tour de France passes through this year. I would like to encourage cyclists in a fun way, but not unpleasant. Do people usually just scream and applaud? Is there a more nuanced approach? Is running next to a cyclist and words of encouragement give a sign of being a good fan or is rejected? Could, for example, playing the Spanish guitar as the cyclists ride to be liked or frowned upon? Thanks is advance for your input, and sorry if this seems a silly question ridiculous for me to be able to find my own common sense.

scream and shout, carry a flag with you, but stay off the road. Do not run with cyclists. u dont want to cause an accident!

Fans await start of Tour de France
